With almost two decades of experience in corporate and tax law, Dwayne B. Duncan, Esq., has built a distinguished legal career specializing in philanthropic tax strategy, estate planning, and business law. His passion lies in helping individuals, families, and businesses create lasting legacies through smart tax planning, wealth preservation, and charitable giving.
Dwayne began his legal career as a judicial law clerk in the Tax Court of New Jersey, where he developed a deep understanding of complex state and local tax issues. His work in reviewing and advising on tax cases equipped him with the analytical insight that continues to serve his clients today.
Following his clerkship, Dwayne joined Archer Law, a top New Jersey law firm, where he further honed his skills in corporate and business law. A standout achievement during his time there was successfully advocating against improper taxation practices, securing a favorable court ruling that protected taxpayers from government overreach.
Dwayne’s career trajectory then led him to JP Morgan Chase, the world’s leading investment bank, where he landed the role of Vice-President. Here, he gained better understanding of strategies, implementation, and regulatory compliance of financial vehicles to geared toward high-net-worth individuals and business owners. This experience allows him to advise individuals and businesses to effectively safeguard their assets and strengthen their financial futures.
Currently, as the Managing Attorney at The Duncan Law Firm LLC, Dwayne focuses on empowering clients to align their financial plans with their long-term goals. His expertise includes charitable gift planning, tax-advantaged wealth transfers, and estate planning strategies designed to preserve and grow family wealth. In addition to his legal practice, Dwayne has been married to his beautiful wife for 15 years and is the father of 2 amazing children. He volunteers at his at his children’s school and is active in his local church.
